African American Heritage Scholarship Application

Dear Queens Families

Our annual African American Heritage Scholarship competition is underway!

We know paying for college is hard, but my office is here to help. That's why for the fifth consecutive year, my administration's African American Heritage Committee is proudly putting on this scholarship competition. All Queens high school seniors are eligible to apply, with winners receiving a $1,000 scholarship..

You must submit your application, along with an official high school transcript, by Thursday, January 9. Winners will be notified in early February and honored during our annual Black History Month celebration on Wednesday, February 26.

We can't wait to celebrate our students' amazing academic achievements by making sure their higher education is a little more affordable. To apply and for more information, click here.
